• 2004 Mid American Conference "Coach of the Year".
• CMU pitching staff finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Team ERA in the MAC and was ranked 17th in the country in 1999.
• Servered 11 years as head baseball coach at Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central High, winning state titles in 1990 & 1997.
• Left-handed pitcher for the Chippewas 1977-1979.
