Miguel Bonilla

Current Professional Coach w/ Pittsburgh Pirates Organization

Miguel is in his 8th season as a coach in the Pittsburgh organization - his third full season as a coach in the Gulf Coast League. He spent the previous two years as a coach with Williamsport (A) and worked three seasons (1997-99) with the Santo Domingo Pirates of the Dominican Summer League. Bonilla was a player/coach with Bradenton in 1996.

He was originally signed by the Pirates as a free agent on 5/3/90 and played for five seasons in the farm system before retiring in 1995. Bonilla currently resides in Bradenton, FL, with wife Cynthia and son Adonis (8).
