Introduction

The 2012 Team Mountain West Regional Identification Series will consist of three separate age divisions and will be held in Utah County, Utah August 1st - 4th.

Games will be played at Brigham Young University and surrounding high school fields. Players from five Mountain West States will be competing for a roster spot to represent the region in the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series in Cary, NC - August 23rd -26th 16 and 17U. September 6th - 9th 14U 2012 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex. Only fifteen teams will appear in that event, from 14 regions, and one at-large team. Mountain West is one of the regions.

August 1st Evaluation Camp
Location: Nelson Field- Spanish Fork, Utah
Ages: Rising 6th-12th graders
Time: 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Instructors: 2012 14U, 16U, and 17U Team Mountain West Coaching Staffs.

August 1st - 4th Tournament
Location: Utah County Utah
Ages: Rising 6th-12th graders
Game Times TBA

Eligible players include players born in:
o 1995, (17U)
o 1996, 1997 (16U)
o 1998, 1999 (14U)

Mountain West Team Trials:
At the conclusion of the Mountain West team trials, 18 players will be selected to represent the Mountain West region at the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series in Cary North Carolina August 23rd -26th 16 and 17U. September 6th - 9th 14U

Note: There will be an additional uniform fee of $200.00 for players selected to Team Mountain West.

3 - 9 inning games…Best records in each age division play for championship
• Gate fees for spectators will be $7.00 per day or a tournament pass for $15.00

Closing Ceremonies
To be held at Brigham Young University: At 3:30 on Saturday August 4th. There will be no opening ceremonies.

Miscellaneous Information

Official Cancellation Policy for all USA Baseball NTIS events:

Cancellations up to 8 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. No exceptions will be made. The participating player or team will receive their refund within 30 days of the time of cancellation.

Cancellations within 7 days of the start of the event will forfeit the entire registration fee. No exceptions will be made.
