Detailed Camp Description

Under our camp director Mark Franklin, The University of Texas Baseball Camp is committed to establishing the premier baseball camp in the nation. The combination of our experienced coaching staff and the newly renovated UFCU Disch-Falk Field provide the perfect environment for campers to further their skills and knowledge in baseball while having fun!

Campers will be split into groups according to age and ability for each camp in order to provide the most relative instruction.

Equipment
All campers should bring a baseball glove, baseball cap and turf/tennis shoes (or cleats if preferred). If you wish, you may bring your personal bat or any equipment you feel necessary. All other equipment (balls, helmets, etc.) will be provided. Please put your name on any equipment you bring to camp.

Facilities
Campers Train in the Best Facilities in the Southwest: UFCU Disch-Falk Field Serves as the home for Texas Baseball Camps. Having Just completed the $26-million renovation, UT now has one of the premier facilities in college baseball.

The renovations include a new façade, suites, press box, ticket office and store. In addition to replacement of the field lighting system and an upgraded sound system, there are improved seating areas and a concourse with new concessions and restrooms. Players enjoy new locker rooms, training facilities and batting cages. The stadium also features brand new Field Turf, the revolutionary, state-of-the-art playing surface.

Camp Check-in Information

Please check in 30 mins prior to the start time.

Camp Parking Information

Parents may park in the stadium parking lot during primary drop off (7-9am) and primary pick-up (3:45-5pm) without being ticketed. All other times parents must park on the public streets surrounding the field

Meals / Snacks

Campers that have registered for three sessions, full day, or overnight will receive lunch at the field. Overnight campers are also provided breakfast and dinner.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Miscellaneous Information

Camp will be help rain or shine. There will be baseball activities on the concourse at UFCU Disch-Falk Field, as well as instructional videos and speakers on baseball fundamentals and strategy.

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas at Austin are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.

Medical Release

Please download camp waiver and release form and deliver to camp check in.

Certified athletic trainers will be on-site for all Camps.

Camp Merchandise

University of Texas Longhorn Baseball merchandise will be available at this event.

Camp Hotel / Dorm Information

For campers choosing the overnight stay option
Overnight campers will stay in UT dorms. Overnight campers are responsible for providing their own toiletries, swimming trunks, extra clothes, and spending money (for things like snacks and video games). Overnight campers are responsible for linens.

Airport Pickup / Dropoff Information

We do not provide transportation to and from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. However you can find transportation from the Capital Metro Airport Flier, Austin Yellow Cab or Super Shuttle. Someone from the University of Texas Baseball Camp staff will be available upon arrival and departure of the campers. We must be notified one week in advance so that we may accommodate you.
