The All Star Baseball Summer Camp is celebrating its 30th season and is a baseball experience like no other. From being instructed by some of the best baseball coaches in the country, to practicing on the beautiful Ramapo College Baseball Facilities; from attending a Yankees or Mets game, to meeting and getting pictures with current and former Major League Players, this camp has it all.

Players will be separated into training groups by age and skill level and will then rotate through fundamental skill stations as well as play in instructional scrimmage games. Every aspect of the game of baseball will be covered during each days schedule along with fun nighttime activities including tennis, swimming, video games, movies and more.

Detailed Camp Description

This camp is designed for players aged 7-17 and will run from 8:30am - 4:15pm each day. Extended Day Camp hours are 8:30am - 10:00pm. Overnight campers will begin camp at 9:00am with the others and will have nighttime activities until 10:00pm.

The biggest asset we offer at All Star Baseball Camp is without a doubt, the outstanding staff that we have put together for you. Our instructors are experienced high school and college coaches. Our counselors are college and high school baseball players and most of them are former campers. Many of our counselors are Major League prospects and some are multilingual. All of our staff members stay in the dorms with the campers to ensure 24 hour supervision.

Sportsmanship is a positive factor at All Star Baseball Camp. Our camp rules and regulations are simple and clear. Our coaches have many years of experience as behavior counselors and while we will temper all discipline with kindness and fairness, we will enforce all rules to provide a positive and favorable atmosphere for all of our campers. We firmly believe that all campers respond to fair discipline and we feel strongly that this concept should be an important factor in our program.

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.

Players Receive:
6 days of elite, professional instruction
Opportunity to meet and learn from former and future professional baseball players
Opportunity to train daily on one of the finest baseball camp facilities in the country!
Opportunity to meet a current or former Major League Player
A major league style scouting report / evaluation highlighting strengths and identifying what needs to be worked on.

Your Camp Host:
In the summer of 1981 Rich Martin decided to start the All Star Baseball Camp. His vision was to conduct a camp that addressed the real customers which are the campers themselves. The camp has continued to move locations in order to ensure the best possible facilities for the kids and is now conducted at Ramapo College of New Jersey. The camp has grown from 240 campers over the 8 summer sessions in 1981 to nearly 1500 campers over that same period in 1988.

The All Star Baseball Camp has had its fair share of achievements throughout its 25 year history and we are especially proud of the many campers that have gone on to gain college scholarships to over 75 different universities around the country. We are also proud of the nearly 35% of returning campers we have each year. We have even had some campers return each year for 10 years starting at age 7 and continuing to return until they were 17.

Coach Martin continues to uphold the principles that have made the All Star Baseball Camp the number one Baseball Camp in America. While we strive to please the parents of our campers, our "true" customers learn and play our national pastime and take home something very special, the world famous, "All Star Experience." Just ask the over 18,000 campers from 35 different countries and 45 states that have passed through our doors since 1981 when Coach Marin had the notion that he could do it a little bit better than the other baseball camps.

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
