Introduction
Our Rebel Showcase Camp is designed for players with a
specific interest in attending and playing baseball at UNLV.
Since 2004, 95 players attending UNLV Prospect Camps have received Division I scholarships.
Curriculum for the Rebel Select Camp is formulated to
allow players to display their abilities in front of the Rebel
coaching staff, as well as interaction between coaches and
players to better establish a relationship.
The Prospect
Camp format will be as follows:
Day 1: Position Instruction, Pro Style Workout, BP and Defensive Skills
Evaluation, UNLV Question and Answer and
Campus Tour.
Day 2: Hitting Instruction, Showcase Games.
Players are free to leave on Sunday following their showcase game.
Detailed Camp Description
Times
8:00am -1:00pm on Saturday
8:00am - 12:00pm on Sunday
Every player will have an opportunity to display their abilities at multiple positions in the pro-style workout.
All participants will have the opportunity to take live batting practice on the field to be evaluated by the UNLV coaching staff. Pitchers will pitch live in the showcase game, while hitters will face live pitching.
Players will work directly with UNLV coaches at their specific defensive position during the position instruction part of camp. You will be notified of your game schedule and hitting instruction times for Day 2.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Camp Check-in Information
Check in: Starts 1 hour before the start of camp.
Items to Bring:
- Baseball or other athletic clothing- Tennis shoes and cleats
- Baseball bat and batting gloves
- Baseball glove - Helmet if you have one
- Baseball Cap - Catcher gear (catchers only)
- Please mark name on all items.
- The Rebel Baseball Academy will not be responsible for lost items.

Directions to Camp
Each camp will be held at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The
Lied Athletic complex and other campus facilities will be utilized
as each camp or inclement weather require.

Miscellaneous Information
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our national locations. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
Medical Release
Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available on-line. Please print fill out and bring to camp.
Medical Care: A member of the UNLV athletic training staff will be present during each session.
Camp Merchandise
Official UNLV Baseball Merchandise will be for sale
during the camp, including fitted caps, t- shirts, sweatshirts, and
other apparel.
Camp Hotel / Dorm Information
There are no Overnight options available on the campus of UNLV for this session.
