Introduction

The Bill Brown Baseball Spring Training Camp is designed to provide travel ball and junior high baseball players (ages 11-14) the opportunity to expand their baseball skills while preparing for the upcoming spring season.

This camp is to help players gain important knowledge and skill for moving up the "Big Field," 90' bases. Each player will receive position-specific skill instruction, situational defensive work, and extensive offensive training, guided by our experienced and knowledgeable staff.

This 4-week camp is sure to give any player a head start leading the Spring!

Detailed Camp Description

Bill Brown Baseball Camps are designed to teach students solid fundamental baseball skills as well as to raise their level of understanding of the game of baseball. Our purpose is to provide each camper with the instruction and encouragement needed to develop individual skills to a greater level. In addition, we want the camper to be aware that individual skills are best utilized when they are incorporated into a team concept. We will emphasize how individuals work together on a field to form a baseball "team."

4 Mondays: March 5, 12, 19 & 26

What to bring:
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment, including: glove, running/turf shoes, hat, athletic supporter/cup, etc.

Facility
Raymond H. "Hap" Spuhler Field is located on the campus of George Mason University and serves as the home of the Patriots. Sports Turf Magazine rated Spuhler Field the number one playing surface in the country for 2003 and "The Hap" is a first class venue for the showcase.
