Introduction
The Seminole Advanced Baseball School is
designed to teach advanced skills and strategies of baseball
exclusively. This is a very intense week of baseball for the
advanced player who sincerely desires to learn and improve
his skills through instruction, drills, and competition in controlled
game experiences. The watchful eyes of professional scouts,
college, and junior college coaches will evaluate each player
for their own professional interests.
Conducted on the campus of Florida State University,
Tallahassee Community College, and nearby high school
fields, the Seminole Advanced Baseball School , is
the "premier instructional baseball school in the country".
The Seminole Advanced Baseball School has been the setting for
professional scouts and college coaches to see great
high school talent for the first time in a very competitive
atmosphere. Recent Advanced Baseball Schools have produced
26 First Round Major League Draft Picks plus additional
draft picks; Collegiate All-Americans; College World Series
participants; as well as additional solid college players. The
Advanced School is fast becoming a National and
International baseball school attended by players from over
26 different states and several foreign countries.
The Advanced Baseball School will group participants in teams
depending on the position they indicate in the registration form.
The morning and afternoon schedule will include practice and
a controlled game along with complete hitting instruction, base
running instruction, and position play instruction on Monday-
Thursday. Friday will be a professional style evaluation for all
college coaches and professional scouts in attendance.
The evening sessions will include a Hitting Evaluation and
a Florida State Coaches Forum. This informative session will give
the participant valuable insight on what to do and expect going
into their high school years, or after they have graduated from
high school. There will be a question and answer session
at the end of this forum. Past forums have been greatly
appreciated by campers and parents in attendance.
This entire week may be the most important week in a
high school player's career. Each participant has a week
to learn and improve as well as display his playing ability
against competition of players of the same age group and goals. .
Detailed Camp Description
Evaluation
Participants will be evaluated in a live hitting setting during the
night sessions. Each player will have an opportunity to display his

hands and footwork, throwing arm, and 60 yard running time. Each
participant will receive an evaluation by his team coach at the end
of the week.
