Introduction

Thank you for your interest in the Wildcat Baseball Camps. The intent of the Davidson Wildcat baseball camp is to provide a fun, educational environment for players of all ability levels.

The staff, which consists of coaches with collegiate and professional playing background as well as professional, collegiate, international and high school coaching experience, is dedicated to teaching and reinforcing the proper mechanics and mental approach in all aspects of the game to help the players maximize their ability and enhance their passion for the game.

Enrollment limited to 50 players.

Detailed Camp Description

Dick Cooke will be joined by assistant coaches Mike Zandler, Tod Gross and Tommy Piacenza (Davidson 2010) as well as other area coaches to operate the high school camp held in August. This camp features small enrollment (40-50 people) which will allow high school players to take advantage of an all-inclusive instructional environment. Instruction will be offered in infield and outfield play, pitching and catching as well as hitting. Live games will allow the players to apply their skills in a competitive environment.

Equipment
Players should wear baseball attire and bring necessary cleats, glove, bat, etc. Bats are available at the camp for those who do not bring their own. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Food will be available for purchase at our in camp concession stand.

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Waiver & Medical Release Form will be attached to your e-mail confirmation.

Please print fill out, sign and deliver this form to the registration check in on the first day of camp. You will be unable to attend camp without this form.

Camp Merchandise

Davidson College Baseball merchandise will be avaiable for purchase at camp

Camp Hotel / Dorm Information

This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
