Our staff of former and current professional players, coaches and scouts are extremely experienced and have one common goal……. to provide you with the tools necessary to produce a more effective and efficient swing.

Players will be separated into training groups by age. They will rotate through numerous stations designed to improve all aspects of the offensive part of the game of baseball.

Note: America's Baseball Camps in conjunction with the University of San Diego and it's Head Baseball Coach Rich Hill welcomes all parents and family members to attend, observe, follow player to stations, take notes, ask questions, video tape as well as take pictures. Please feel free to enjoy the experience along with your player.

Detailed Camp Description

Players will be evaluated personally with Video Analysis software and have the chance to have there swing broken down by a Professional Instructor. Professional Instructors will provide an evaluation of feedback, changes and recommend drills to help fix or improve your swing.

Interested in adding the Video Analysis Evaluation Package? Check the box on the registration page. The cost of package is $50.00 and is a valuable tool to have to increase your knowledge and continued improvement of your swing

Here is what you can expect to work on while at camp:
Foundation and Balance
Mental preparation and Hitting Philosophy
Hand-eye coordination
Proper weight transfer
Opposite field hitting
Hitting with two strikes
Swing Plane
Off speed pitch hitting
Hitting stations including Soft toss, live, tee work, hitting disk and more
Situational hitting including bunting

What to bring
Players should bring Baseball Pants or Athletic Clothing, Baseball Bat, Batting gloves, Baseball cap, Baseball glove, Helmet if you have one, Water Bottle and any additional items that you feel necessary to compete with.

Your Camp Hosts
This is an America's Baseball Camps (ABC) Experience. ABC was started by Ben Boulware, a former professional player in the Chicago White Sox Organization, in 1997. In its 15 years of existence ABC has grown from a 10 location, day camp Company to one of the largest baseball instruction company's in the world. ABC now has over 400 locations in 29 states and 4 countries' and is continuing to grow each year. From 200 player overnight, weeklong camps in or near major cities around the country to weekend day camps and coaches clinics in small rural towns, we do it all.

Camp Check-in Information

Hitting Campers that are not in the week long camp need to report to Cunningham Stadium at 1:30pm for Check In. Camp will begin at 2:00pm and end at 6:00pm.

Airport Pickup / Dropoff Information

Week long players please be sure to fly into San Diego International Airport before 12:00pm on the 9th if you are attending the Hitting Camp.
